PULSE Souvenir Book

Dear Families, Friends and Pulse Supporters,
Centering Corporation is pleased to be a part of the upcoming Souvenir book celebrating PULSE and their 25 years of supporting families who have been victimized by homicide.

The PULSE Souvenir book will be a show of legacy giving support and resources to the families suffering from the unthinkable, homicide. Readers will read and learn about the trials, tribulations and triumphs of PULSE.

I am honored to volunteer to do the design and production work for PULSE, a very needed organization. You can be a part of the caring by placing an ad in the souvenir book. Donations will go toward printing costs.

Please send your digital ad to centeringcorp@aol.com.

Please join us for a gathering of Nebraska murder victims’ families and out of state victims’ leader, Vicki Schieber.

Vicki’s daughter Shannon was raped and murdered when she was a student in Philadelphia. Following her loss, Vicki became a leader in the effort to end the death penalty in her home state of Maryland. After winning this effort, Vicki went on with a coalition of victims to advocate $500,000 of the savings from ending the death penalty to be awarded to homicide victims’ families. They won this campaign, and we want you to hear her story of triumph after tragedy, and how to be an effective advocate.

This will be a safe space. Regardless of your feelings about the death penalty, or any other issue, you are welcome. This event is co-sponsored by PULSE, which has some supporters who favor the death penalty and others who oppose the death penalty.

We will ensure there is ample time to visit with others and share your experiences. A light dinner will be served. You are welcome to bring along family or other support people.

For more information or to RSVP: please call Colleen at (720) 214-6760 or email her at colleenc@ejusa.org. You can attend without RSVPing, but if you know you can make it, we’d love to hear from you. You are welcome to bring your family. Vicki and her husband Syl will be in Nebraska for a few days, so if you can’t attend on Monday and would like to set up a private meeting, we can try to arrange that.
