Creighton University has conferred the President’s Legacy Award on Sadie Bankston in recognition of her leadership of PULSE and the compassionate care for those who have experienced the devastating loss of a child. Her efforts for positive change in the community have benefited many citizens in the Greater Omaha area.
The President’s Legacy Award will be conferred on Sadie Bankston at the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Monday January 21, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Hixson-Lied Auditorium of the Mike and Josie Harper Center.
This is a great honor for Sadie Bankston, so please plan to attend the ceremony.

P.U.L.S.E. is a non-profit organization based in Omaha, Nebraska that offers comprehensive, long-term support for secondary victims of homicide. Since 1991, P.U.L.S.E. has offered crisis intervention, counseling resources, and peer support groups for secondary victims of homicide, and works deeply with the community towards an end to violence in our streets and homes.
